Good morning and happy Sunday friends.

To day is the last of the new releases at Digistamps4Joy for November...Can you believe tomorrow is the last month and so almost  the end of 2014. There are some lovely new images which you can find HERE. The DT have made cards with some of these images and you can view them all on the BLOG

The image is Baobab Christmas and this is what I used:

Background paper from Fabscraps. Cut a large star from a scrap in my stash.
Coloured the image with distress inkpads and Twinkling H20's for the lights on the tree. Added some glitter.

Good morning to all my friends,
Can you believe we are a month away from Christmas, so I hope you are all managing to get your Christmas preparations started.
I have made another Christmas card this week, for the Colour challenge at The Outlawz using the beautiful Inspirational photo, colour palette and twist that was Ina's choice.

It is again one of our regular challenges. You choose 3 of the 5 colours shown, and add the twist to use sequins or rhinestones. Please remember to tell us which colours you have used.

This is my card:

I used dark peacock cardstock, matted patterned paper from LeCreaDesign called Christmas design.
Punched all the corners.

Midway challenge #104 at Digistamps4Joy

Good morning friends and a happy Wednesday to you all,

There is still a week left for the challenge at Digistamps4Joy  hosted by Berni and she has chosen the theme....Preparing for holidays/fall.
The DT have made gorgeous projects for this challenge, so go and have a look for some inspiration.
You do not have to use a ds4j image, but you stand a chance to win the $10 voucher if you do. There are a number of images in the SHOP which can be used for this theme and there is also a reward points system, so have a browse there.

You can choose any holiday for this, and as I am trying to get ahead for Christmas I made a wine bottle tag, as I need a few of these, and it saves wrapping the bottle.

I cut a tag and embossed it with a CB embossing folder.

Image is Steampunk Tree and you can find it HERE This will be a gift for my nephew, who loves his red wine and also does a lot of DIY...so thought this a perfect image for him.

I printed the image on patterned paper and then decorated with gold, black glitter, bronze EP, and gold peel-off stars. Cut it out and attached to the tag.

The sentiment if from a Papermania set.

Christmas at Let's Craft and Create

Hello friends

I have started making tags for Christmas gifts and decided to use 2 of them on a card.

Paper - I made a patchwork background using pieces from Marianne Designs Vintage Christmas. I saw this idea at Beccy's place and really liked it. A good way to use up scraps.
Images - Christmas Tags. The tags are images from the Progressive challenge at Digistamps4Joy. I printed them onto patterned paper, then added a bit of colour, stickles, glitter and pearls. Stamped a sentiment onto the one and added a peel-off onto the other one.

DS4J ...reminder challenge #103...Anything goes

Happy Wednesday bloggers,
Where has this week gone...... Today I would like to remind you of the challenge over at Digistamps4Joy #103
My teamie Gloria is hosting this one and has given us such an easy theme...Anything goes, so come along and join in with your creation. You may use any image..digi or regular stamp, but if you have a DS4J image, you will get a chance at the big prize.  Hurry along and see the amazing card made by the DT.

This is my card, going with a Christmas image.

I used up some of my old paper which I matted onto the front, then cut a square with a Nellie Snellen MFD. I used the same set to cut a frame with a red and gold Christmas paper.

I also found a page of lovely peeloff poinsettias which I layered in the corner.

On the inside I used the same red and gold paper with a diecut, and matted the image/sentiment onto that.

Added the leaves  from the peeloffs with some beads for a fairly simple card.

New colour challenge at The Outlawz

Good morning friends,
After the heat of a few weeks, it is so lovely to have cool cloudy weather and some rain. Perfect for the new garden we are busy planting.

It is a new month and also a NEW colour challenge at The Outlawz.

This month we have some exciting NEW challenges for you, so hope you will come over every week and join in the fun.

This week Laurian chose the inspiration for the challenge with  tic-tac-toe and a twist.

Select a row of colours and if you land on a word, then include that twist in your project. How easy is that.

Being a new month, we also have a new sponsor Squigglefly and the winner can win 3 digis from them.

Squigglefly.com Digital Stamps
The DT have made lovely cards using various Squigglefly images so we would love you to come and join us..

Now on to my card:

I chose to use the diagonal line, top left to bottom right for my colours, and that included the twist of using buttons.
I used two colours of cardstock, embossed the pink one, and then coloured the flowers a deeper shade with Pan Pastels
The image is 'Hurt bunny' and you can find it HERE  coloured with Distress inkpads. I made some dots using Pontura pearl makers. Cut it out with a Nellie Snellen MF die.

The sentiment comes with the image, and I have these little brad 'buttons' I thought were just cute.

Added a real button and ribbon to finish.

Will enter some challenges:
Whoopsi Daisy challenge...Add a sentiment
